Youth Program

The Oxford Kings Youth Baseball Academy welcomes children aged 6-14 of all abilities.

Does my child need to have previous baseball experience? Everyone is welcome! In line with our club constitution, we are “a teaching club,” meaning people of all baseball experience levels are welcome to join and receive instruction.

What does it cost? Our Fall Ball taster sessions are free. The Club is a not-for-profit organisation and all of our coaches and officers are volunteers. We are grateful for the continued support of the Oxford Kings Senior Baseball Team and last year’s start-up grant from Sport England.

What do we need to bring or wear? You are encouraged to bring your own baseball glove if you have one, but we do have some equipment to lend. All children should be dressed to play sports, including comfortable footwear for running on (potentially wet) grass. We recommend that you bring a hat, sunscreen, plenty of water/drinks and a snack if necessary.
